Angel of God,
my guardian dear,
to whom God’s love
commits me here,
ever this day be at my side,
to light and guard,
to rule and guide.
—Amen

Angel of God,
my guardian dear,
to whom God’s love
commits me here,
ever this day be at my side,
to light and guard,
to rule and guide.
—Amen

Glorious Saint Joseph,
foster-father and protector of Jesus Christ,
to you I raise my heart and my hands
to implore your powerful intercession.
Please obtain for me
from the kind Heart of Jesus
the help and the graces necessary
for my spiritual and temporal welfare.
I ask particularly for the grace of a happy death
and the special favor I now implore.
(Make your petition here…)
Guardian of the Word Incarnate,
I feel animated with confidence
that your prayers in my behalf
will be graciously heard before the throne of God.
O glorious Saint Joseph,
through the love you bear to Jesus Christ,
and for the glory of His name,
hear my prayers and obtain my petitions.
—Amen

V- The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary.
R- And she conceived by the Holy Spirit. (Hail Mary…)
V- Behold the handmaid of the Lord.
R- Be it done unto me according to thy word. (Hail Mary…)
V- And the Word was made Flesh.
R- And dwelt among us. (Hail Mary…)
V- Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.
R- That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray: Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts; that, we to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an Angel, may by His Passion and Cross, be brought to the glory of His Resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord.
—Amen

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, and sought thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother, to thee I come, before thee I stand sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate! despise not my petitions, but, in thy mercy, hear and answer me.
—Amen

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful,
And kindle in them the fire of Your love.
Send forth Your Spirit and they shall be created.
And you shall renew the face of the earth.
O God, Who has instructed the hearts of Your faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit; grant us, in the same Spirit; to be truly wise, and ever to rejoice in His consolation.
Through Christ our Lord.
—Amen

Soul of Christ, sanctify me;
Body of Christ, save me;
Blood of Christ, inebriate me;
Water from the side of Christ, wash me;
Passion of Christ, strengthen me;
O good Jesus hear me;
Within Your wounds hide me;
Separated from You, let me never be;
From the evil one protect me;
At the hour of my death, call me;
And close to You bid me;
That with Your saints,
I may be,
Praising You forever and ever.
—Amen

Look down upon me, good and gentle Jesus
while before Your face I humbly kneel and,
with burning soul,
pray and beseech You
to fix deep in my heart lively sentiments
of faith, hope, and charity;
true contrition for my sins,
and a firm purpose of amendment.
While I contemplate,
with great love and tender pity,
Your five most precious wounds,
pondering over them within me
and calling to mind the words which David,
Your prophet, said to You, my Jesus:
“They have pierced My hands and My feet,
they have numbered all My bones.”
—Amen

Holy Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do you, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls.
—Amen

Heavenly Father, We ask You today for Your truth, As a belt tight around our waists.
We put on the zeal, To announce Your good news of peace, As shoes for our feet. We put on Your righteousness, O Christ, as our breastplate. And the hope of salvation, As a helmet for our head.
Father we take up faith, As a shield which is able to put out, All the fiery darts of the enemy.
And the sword of the Spirit, Which is Your Word, O Lord. Father may the love, With which You have loved Jesus, Be in us and may Jesus be in us.
We ask You for the grace, Of a servant heart.
—Amen

Most Merciful Jesus, lover of souls, I pray to You, by the agony of Your most sacred Heart, and by the sorrows of Your Immaculate Mother, to wash in Your Most Precious Blood, all those who are now in their agony, and who will die today. I commit them to Your Divine Mercy, to the heart of Our Blessed Mother, and to the care of St. Joseph, Patron of a happy death. May the angels lead them into paradise, may the saints come to greet them, and with Lazarus, who once was dead, may they have everlasting life.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I put my trust in You.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you. Save souls.
—Amen
