That we are born to eternal life.

Remember, O Mary,
that you have always helped
every soul who has begged
for your mercy.
We come before you,
our Mother,
trusting that you will hear
our petitions and answer us.

Angel of God,
my guardian dear,
to whom God’s love
commits me here,
ever this day be at my side,
to light and guard,
to rule and guide.

Glorious Saint Joseph,
foster-father and protector of Jesus Christ,
to you I raise my heart and my hands
to implore your powerful intercession.
Please obtain for me
from the kind Heart of Jesus
the help and the graces necessary
for my spiritual and temporal welfare.
I ask particularly for the grace of a happy death
and the special favor I now implore.

Let us pray: Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts; that, we to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an Angel, may by His Passion and Cross, be brought to the glory of His Resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, and sought thy intercession, was left unaided.

Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother, to thee I come, before thee I stand sinful and sorrowful.

O Mother of the Word Incarnate! despise not my petitions, but, in thy mercy, hear and answer me.

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful,
And kindle in them the fire of Your love.
Send forth Your Spirit and they shall be created.
And you shall renew the face of the earth.

O God, Who has instructed the hearts of Your faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit; grant us, in the same Spirit; to be truly wise, and ever to rejoice in His consolation.
